Word Clock Pieces
The Word Clock comes in five parts:
Clock Face
This is the front of the clock. It comprises a cover with letters cut out to show the words. There is a ring of squares around the edge which act as lights which can show various information depending on the clock mode.
Light Diffuser
Behind the Clock Face is a "diffuser" to spread out the light from the LED's and make them light up the letters on the face correctly. The diffuser is simply a piece of regular paper, printed black on it.

Light Grid
Behind the Light Diffuser is a square grid. This isolates the light from each LED to make sure that the LED only lights up a single letter in the face.

Clock Back Enclosure
Behind the Light Grid is the Back Enclosure which holds the LED Matrix. The enclosure holds the Matrix in place and allows access to the matrix wiring from the Clock Back

Clock Back
Behind the Clock Back Enclosure is the back of the clock, which houses the Raspberry PI board, the buttons, the camera (if you have one) and all the wiring.
